The Assistant Manager – Retail Sales Operations is responsible for ensuring the implementation of overall retail operations standards/practices and management of EGGstores and other retail accounts. He/She oversees day-to-day activities ensuring driven manpower, efficient operations, compliance and exceptional customer service to be about targeted sales.

KEY RESPONSIBIITIES:

1. Daily Operations: Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other integral departments to ensure adherence of daily operational and compliance standards of all EGGcelsior Stores including opening and closing procedures, staffing, inventory management and customer service.

2. Customer Service Excellence: Uphold a high standard of customer service by providing prompt and courteous assistance of customers, addressing inquiries, suggestive/upselling, resolving complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.

3. Staff Supervision and Training: Assist in recruitment and takes charge in training and supervision of retail staff, cashiers and merchandisers ensuring that they will deliver excellent customer service and perform their duties effectively.

4. Inventory management: Support accurate inventory management process including receiving of deliveries, stocking, conducting regular inventory counts and minimize stock discrepancies.

5. Visual merchandising: Collaborate with Marketing to maintain appealing visual appealing displays and ensure that eggs are showcased effectively to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience

6. Sales and Performance Analysis: Monitors retail-wide sales performance, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities for improvements. Support the implementation of strategies to optimize sales and achieve revenue targets.

7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies & procedures as well as relevant health and safety regulations

8. Administrative Tasks: Takes charge with administrative tasks such as scheduling of merchandisers and cashiers work shifts and submitting reports including attendance.

Qualifications:

Graduate of any 4-year course; preferably, business-related courses.

At least two (2) years’ experience in retail operations and management or related field is a huge plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff and management.

Self-starter and has strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Must have the ability to make decisions.

Willing to work full time hours including weekends, evenings and holidays as may be required.

Keen to details and adept in visual merchandizing.

Proficient in inventory management soft wares and basic computer operations.
