Promising opportunity for medical device Operator II's to continue your career in the manufacturing industry!

We are looking to hire 2-5 Operator II who will be responsible for device assembly, testing and documentation. The right candidate experience will have cleanroom, microscopes, assembly of very small parts, medical device industry and hand soldering experience.

Compensation: depending on experience $24-30/hr.

Schedule: 9/80, Monday thru Thursday 7:30am to 5pm, Friday's 7:30am to 4pm (with every other Friday off)

Training is approximately 5-6 weeks long and will be conducted in Rancho Bernardo. Must be able to commute to Rancho Bernardo during training.

Your Responsibilities:

Good hand-eye coordination to perform assembly operations with hand tools and equipment under a microscope.

Follows and documents bill of materials, work instructions and test procedures.

Measuring and recording performance metrics using dimensional equipment.

Operate within a quality management system documenting operations performed using a manufacturing traveler.

Monitor equipment calibration certifications required for assembly operations.

Assist engineering and work under minimal guidance and supervision.

Reports status of ongoing assembly activities to immediate supervisor.

Support company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures.

Experience/ Education Requirements for this position:

High school diploma or equivalent

5 years of medical device assembly experience working with very small parts.

Ability to follow written and verbal directions, prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, works under deadlines and apply technical skills.

Experience using a microscope performing assembly with very small parts.

Hand Soldering experience in medical or electronic industries.

Experience using UV adhesives and thermal bonding for assembly.

Catheter assembly and testing experience a plus.

Good interpersonal, communication, and training ability.

Good organizational and documentation skills.

Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.

Expertise in prototyping and manufacturing methods appropriate for the medical device industry.
