Registered Dietitian

Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our client in Dunwoody, GA! In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver optimal nutrition therapy to a diverse caseload of clients. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans through comprehensive nutrition assessments, monitoring ongoing medical conditions, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary treatment team.

Salary: $58k-$72.5k

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Holiday rotation (usually 1 holiday per year), on-call rotation (on-call phone rotation, one week at a time, usually once every 8-9 weeks)

Level Of Care: Inpatient and Residential Care.

Case Load:

7-10 clients.

90 minutes of care per client per week.

Usually two sessions (one 30-minute individual and one 30-minute family session to provide updates and nutritional education for families)

Main Responsibilities:

Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients by policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.

Provides group nutrition education as assigned.

Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.

Provides nutrition-specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.

Collaborates with the Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team when needing or providing clinical coverage.

Qualifications:

Registered Dietitian credential is required.

Bachelor’s or master’s in nutrition or dietetics

A current license in the state of employment (Georgia) is required.

One year of clinical experience
