Job Description

SUMMARY The Machine Operator / Loader is responsible for performing all tasks necessary in the daily production operations at Netafim Recycling in Fowler. Production activities include but not limited to driving forklift, driving loaders, operating shredding machine(s), grinding machines, washer, dryers, as well as bagging, identifying, staging, loading of finished products, and general plant cleaning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities of a Machine Operator include but not limited to the following: Responsible for following safety, quality, and production policies & procedures. Responsible for following all company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and policies. Responsible for data recording processed goods; (time, date, wt., & humidity). Responsible for monitoring and agitation of water filtration system. Responsible for moving and staging of materials to be processed. Responsible for the removal and separation of foreign or incompatible materials Responsible for helping bagging, identifying, staging and loading of finished products. Responsible for keeping equipment and work areas clean. Responsible for following directions as instructed by the Lead Supervisor and/or Plant Manager. Assisting in weekly maintenance on process line, which include the following: blade cutter rotation, removing mud/trash from tanks, opening machines for inspection on wear material. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Able to work rotating shifts Must be Fork Lift certified or must be able and willing to be certified. Must be physically able to work standing and walking for the duration of the shift. Must be able to follow simple verbal and/or written instructions. Must be willing to work overtime.

OTHER DESIRED SKILLS Ability to prioritize work. Ability to work with little or no direct supervision. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
