CAD Drafter Designer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting: Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements and specifications. Convert conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, clarify design requirements, and incorporate feedback into drafts. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment throughout the design process.

Interpretation: Interpret rough sketches, specifications, and other documentation to accurately translate design concepts into comprehensive drawings. Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Precision and Accuracy: Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings. Verify dimensions, measurements, and specifications to ensure consistency and correctness.

Qualifications:

· Proficiency in CAD software Inventor plus if you have used Revit

· Strong technical drafting skills, including the ability to create detailed drawings from conceptual designs.

· Knowledge of engineering principles, construction techniques, and industry standards.

· Familiarity with architectural or engineering terminology and practices.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.Company Description
