Uncommon Good is a nonprofit organization that operates education, urban farming, health, and mental health programs for low-income families. Its education program, Connect to College, is a college access program that provides disadvantaged students in 4th – 12th grades with mentors, tutors, academic guidance, and enrichment opportunities. Its urban farm program, CAUSA, provides healthy food and wellness programming for low-income families. Its MED program supports young doctors who serve in disadvantaged communities, operates a mental health program, and also functions as a medical career pipeline for Connect to College students. Uncommon Good is housed in the first-of-its-kind-in-the-world Whole Earth Building that was built by hand with the assistance of Uncommon Good students, their families, and hundreds of community volunteers.

Position Summary: This is a full-time, in-person position. The Data Manager works full-time with the MED Director to manage and expand the MED program. The primary responsibility of the position is to assist the MED Director with data input, management and reporting, using Salesforce and Excel.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the MED Director with the following:

1. Reviewing and scoring applications

2. Inputting program data into Salesforce and Excel

3. Producing data driven reports for funders

4. Carrying out employment checks for grantees

5. Collecting and analyzing exit surveys

6. Developing a robust outreach program to attract new applicants

7. Maintaining a social media presence

8. Developing and editing program forms and templates

9. Answering questions from applicants, grantees, and employers about the program

10. Conducting site visits and interviews with grantees

11. Tracking and updating data for the mental health program

12. Coordinating follow up surveys for the mental health program

13. Counseling and creating programming for health career pipeline students

Required Skills:

· Excellent business English speaking and writing skills

· Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel and Microsoft Office/G Suite

Requirements:

· Ability to learn additional database management skills to use advanced functions

· Authorization to work legally in the United States

Desired Skill: Spanish language fluency

Salary and benefits: The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 depending upon experience. Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance are provided. Free organic fruits and vegetables are available (from Uncommon Good farms). A 403(b) Individual Custodial Retirement Account is available. Paid personal time off is provided, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
