Child and Sponsor Charity Messaging System

We are a registered charity and we aim to create a system to keep our children's sponsors updated with information about the children they support.

We need a secure system to ensure that data cannot be stolen.

At this stage, the system will not process any payments, nor will it require sponsors to have a login.

The primary purpose is for me, as the admin, to send email updates and keep track of sponsors.

I am sure as this develops in future phases you'll have more work with embedding payments and sponsor portal logins etc..

this I just a start.

Although I am not a professional programmer, I have developed an interface using Bootstrap to illustrate the system's functionality and layout.

I am open to other approaches, and the Bootstrap design is simply a guide.

I would also need some advice on the how scheduled emails work, do I need to use something like sendgrid integrated with this or am I okay just using SMTP to schedule and send email updates.
