Manage and operate the daily operations and supervision the radiology ultrasound departments
Explain ultrasound procedures to patients, record relevant medical history and reconcile and collect required data
Booking for Radiography procedures etc.
Picking up/receiving job cards for radiological duties
Radiological duties- An Ultrasound scan of the patient report findings to Radiologist etc.
Assisting Radiologist with procedures as required
Receiving patients from Reception
Perform various technical procedures requiring independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative
A professional demeanor whilst performing all exams, general and vascular
Work with other technologist to perform procedures with quality images
Assisting patients from reception to change rooms and various scanning/x-raying rooms and back again
Positioning of patients for procedures to be done
Quality assurance of procedures to be done
Contributing to the effect running of department, keeping it clean and organized
Routine daily equipment checks, if there are technical problems, report them to the departmental head
Administrative duties as required- answering telephones, making bookings, following up on reports, printing and labelling X-ray results/scans, etc
Capture optimal images to complete detailed written reports for radiologist to interpret
Other ad hic duties reasonably expected by Chief Radiologist and the practice
Requirements
National Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography with B.Tech in Ultrasound or BRad. Ultrasound
