RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Obsessive focus on customer experience and continual delivery of value.

Effectively lead to instil trust, empower team members, focus on business outcomes, and foster a learning culture.

Foster DevOps culture to ensure that applications can be built, tested, deployed, and monitored in an efficient and automated manner.

Manage a team of 20+ engineers and responsible for delivery of product on-time with superior quality.

Maintain and lead awareness of industry best practices and relevant technologies.

Monitor trends in software engineering and development tools to influence the solutions for Tymetrix360.

Understand capabilities and functionality of the platform and products to design and develop new features, modifications, enhancements to current products and tools.

Participate in Code reviews, setting and implementing coding standards, hands on troubleshooting whenever required across different teams.

Partner with cross functional leads and other stakeholders to design and develop modifications and enhancements to Tymetrix360.

Coordinate with Product Management in all areas of development including planning, estimation, risk escalation, mitigation, delivery, and support.

Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching/mentoring to direct reports.

Produce high quality software and participate in continuous improvement to achieve higher efficiency.

Mentor technical managers, principal engineers, senior software engineers as well as associate software engineers through formal and informal channels.

Ensure that all operational and employee related escalations are properly managed and resolved.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E. or B. Tech.), Computer Science or Engineering with equivalent credentials

Master’s degree highly preferred

Experience and Skill set:

Overall, 10 years of experience with a minimum of 7 years of development experience in C#, ASP.NET, .Net frameworks and front-end technologies such as React.

Minimum of 3 years of experience managing small to medium sized teams.

Experience in Web development with client-side scripting languages

Extensive experience using and managing GIT-based source control systems to drive continuous integration and delivery.

5+ years’ experience building Azure native applications.

Extensive experience with agile development methodologies and processes required.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.

Strong strategic thinker: Ability to apply conceptual strategy, facilitate brainstorming, and direct day-to-day execution of projects through to completion with proven experience creating strategies that are executable through creative expression.

Experience leading teams in researching new and emerging technologies to realize potential value, business fit, operations, and cost efficiencies of implementing such technologies is necessary.

Ability to oversee multiple complex project deliveries in parallel.

Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
