Job Description
RFA Engineering is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an Entry-Level to Experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Embedded Systems Engineer
Embedded Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, test and integration of electrical and software systems for mobile machines. This development effort may include requirements development, test plan development, test execution, integration design, issue resolution, coordination with suppliers, and much more.
Responsibilities
Establish a deep understanding of appropriate technologies and application functionalities
Maintain comprehensive ownership of the project system and software requirements, with an understanding of what needs to be developed, tested, and meet stakeholder needs
Apply best practices to create detailed documentation for other teams to create software and test plans
Schedule frequent reviews with stakeholders and various other teams to properly capture the needs of all parties involved
Identify the problems associated with current software and systems to find a solution that would achieve corporate objectives in the development stage
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or significant related experience
Ability to interpret software requirements, state diagrams, block diagrams, and test plan documentation
Foundational understanding of python or other programming languages that would be used to execute downstream automated testing.
General understanding and interest related to controllers, electronics, sensors, displays, cameras and other technologies that are commonly used in vehicles and intelligent systems.
Willingness to adapt to a wide variety of technologies and architectures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong documentation skills (PDF, Microsoft Office)
Ability to thrive in a team environment
