MAIN PURPOSE:
The main objective of this role is to assist in development & execution of brand strategies for Foods business in Area Countries (Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka). This role has inherent complexity because of different business models & different stages of Business in these countries. This includes developing and managing brand assets, measuring brand performance, and executing brand strategies that align with business expansion goals. All brand related activities – from developing strategy, product & packaging development, brand communication and activation as well as agency management – would need to be managed locally and are under scope for this role.
Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:
Partner on business AOP and brand strategy for complete Foods portfolio in the Area countries of Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka
Manage Brand A&M budget based on business needs & role of brand
Collaborate with multi-functional teams like Trade marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, finance etc to ensure exeuction of all category deliverables including specific campaigns & projects.
Impact on Key Stakeholders: Drive clear communication & execution with internal stakeholders (R&D, Legal, Sales and Supply Chain), creative & media agency partners and other external stakeholders (activation vendors). Identifying market-specific threats/opportunities, specific consumer habits in the area countries and executing plans like price/pack, product innovations, marketing communications etc
Develop and execute standard process for brand performance reviews (Weekly and Monthly)
Support on innovation development and project management by identifying consumer needs/trends with insights, writing product concept and brief, working with R&D to qualify product and working with finance to deliver target financials
Assist in managing equity programs including ATL advertising, BTL activations, PR activities, media planning and management of digital programs in the target countries
Develop and execute activation programs including designing/production of POSM, consumer promotions, E-com activities, sampling programs etc
Learn & implement consumer & market insights captured via trade marketing, customer connects, travel & field visits in the respective area countries
Qualifications
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience and Qualification
MBA-Marketing from a premier institute
6-8 years of FMCG experience panning across sales/trade marketing followed by Brand Marketing exp.
Brand marketing expertise and equity exposure, preferably in CPG industry
Experience/ knowledge on working on multi-country projects preferred
Strong communications skills and well versed with English & Bangla languages.
