Digital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solution, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM-suite of PTC. You will engage in a distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Architect to understand, evaluate, and convert functional requirements into technical specifications and architecture for the CAD area

Break down and provide estimates of tasks

Contribute to the creation of deployment-packages, configuration, and setup

Perform unit/smoke/functional testing, prepare test cases, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders

Performing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement

Creating required documentation (specifications, test cases, release notes, procedures, guidelines, etc.)

Working with ticket management tools & processes as 3rd level support

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree within any engineering specialization, preferably within mechanical design

Min 5+ years of relevant experience with 3D design

Hands on experience in handling large CAD models / CAD datasets

Experience from the manufacturing industry and general knowledge of PLM processes like Material Management, Change Management, Document Management etc.

Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization is required.

Technical knowledge of 3D design, documentation, and manufacturing

Technical knowledge of 3D Cad systems, preferable PTC Creo Parametric and Dassault Catia V5.

Experience with PTC Creo View, Creo Illustrate, Creo Schematic, MathCad is desired

Experience with 3D CAD and best practice for delivering downstream value
