Job Duties and Responsibilities

Operate equipment to perform landscaping duties, including but not limited to push and riding mowers, garden tractors, blowers, edgers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and various hand tools.

Operate equipment for seasonal leaf and snow removal, such as leaf blowers, leaf vacuums, Bobcat, snow-throwers, plows, shovels, and other hand tools.

Maintain exterior of grounds in clean condition including, but not limited to, picking up trash, cleaning amenities, etc.

Assist Maintenance Team/Property Manager and/or perform assigned grounds tasks in a timely manner.

Report any concerns for repairs on available grounds, units/lots, office, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Team.

Perform errands and transport materials if required by the property; operate company vehicle following all state traffic and driving laws (when applicable).

Maintain structural integrity of the units and property by performing exterior building maintenance, including but not limited to power washing, painting, and minor repairs.

Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order by performing minor maintenance as needed.

Perform interior upkeep of office space but not limited to, garbage removal, cleaning, and painting.

On-call duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Ability to exercise good judgment

Must have physical and manual dexterity skills and the ability to operate all required equipment.

Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to manage a flexible schedule with varying hours including overtime.

Must be able to walk, move, transport up to 100 lb. loads, bend, stoop, climb stairs, access and work in confined spaces as well as at heights in excess of 20 feet and have the mobility required to use ladders.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel

Problem-solving ability

Must be responsible and reliable

Courteous and professional always

Remain calm under pressure

Valid Driver’s License required

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities

Education

High School Diploma or 5 years applicable experience preferred.
