Located in our Ground Support team, your role as a Ground Support Equipment Technician will see you upholding all maintenance-both corrective and preventative, on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for using the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders across engineering, airports and freight ensuring service level agreements are met with the highest standard of safety and compliance.

You’ll have –

A trade certificate in Automotive Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance trade certificate or equivalent (Heavy Stream Preferred)

Trade experience with heavy diesel vehicles is highly desirable

Diagnostic and repair skills with an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems is desirable, but not essential

Commitment to being customer focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required

Familiarity with ground service equipment e.g. pushback tuggers, aircraft loaders, pallet loaders etc.

High risk license, Forklift license, and Elevatored Work Platform (EWP) ticket is desirable

Ability to commit to a day shift roster 0700 – 1530

Demonstrated high levels of ethical/behaviour standards and self-discipline

Proven experience in a similar role

Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
