Summary/Objective of position:

Adjunct Faculty is responsible for instruction, assessment, advising, committee work, and service to the college. Other duties may require volunteering for field work.

Adjunct faculty will create course syllabus, assign books, develop and deliver lectures and may supplement lessons with additional media or reading materials per their best judgement. Adjunct faculty will grade all assignments, deliver a final grade, and post grades with the registrar.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Minimum:

Certified K-12 teacher in relevant field (i.e. Certified K-12 teacher in science.

Preferred:

Master's Degree

Knowledge:

1. Microsoft Office 365

2. Familiar with Learning Management System

Skills:

- Defensive Driving Certified

Abilities:

- Communicate effectively

Physical requirements, Work Environment & Travel:

- Traveling may be required, lifting of 50lbs, or more of equipment.
