JOB TITLE: Advanced Analytics Senior Manager

SALARY: £86,964 - £102,310

LOCATIONS: Leeds, Edinburgh, or Bristol

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) at our Leeds, Edinburgh, or Bristol locations.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager within Advanced Analytics to lead our team in architecting and implementing cutting-edge data solutions. You will be at the forefront of our data engineering initiatives. You'll lead a talented team in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions. Your role will involve providing technical leadership, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex data projects.

Here's where you'll make the difference:

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers

Architect and implement robust, scalable data solutions to support our legacy to cloud platform journey (GCP and Microsoft)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and drive data monetisation

Define and enforce best practices for data engineering, coding standards, and documentation

Lead the development and maintenance of Master Data Management, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehouses

Ensure data security, compliance, and performance optimization

Stay current with industry trends and technologies, providing thought leadership to the team

What you will need

Proven experience in leading the data engineering efforts to release value at pace whilst balancing the need to move to target infrastructure.

Experience in leading a mix of cloud-based and legacy data engineering teams

Expertise in cloud platforms GCP and data engineering technologies

Strong programming skills (Python, Java, etc.) for data engineering tasks

In-depth knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools

Experience with data integration tools and frameworks

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Experience in working in a fast-paced agile environment
