Role purpose

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to help take our social content to the next level, focusing on developing our social content strategy and working closely with the founder and other team members to ensure we’re producing best-in-class, brand elevating ads to acquire new customers. Social Media Manager is a key role at Gitsu where you will be responsible for managing different social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest etc) for Gitsu. Also, you will be accountable for organic growth of these channels where you will drive all aspects of social media marketing such as follower growth, customer engagement, influencer strategies for Gitsu.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a content calendar that outlines the content for each day/week of the month.

Develop and implement an efficient content creation workflow, including ideation, production, coordination, and final review.

Work closely with Founder and Videographers to produce high-quality content.

Monthly Content Analysis and reporting on the various platforms.

Stay updated on social media trends and algorithms to keep the content fresh and engaging.

Take basic photographs and short videos as required and do basic editing.

Experiment with different content formats, such as interactive posts, carousels, reels, stories, and other emerging formats.

Analysis and monitoring of content along with strategising on how to create better engaging content.

Use social media management tools to schedule and publish content at the most optimal times.

Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments and messages on an everyday ba

Identify and engage with relevant influencers who can amplify our brand message.

Engage with individual content creators to create unique brand-based content primarily for awareness and engagement.

Negotiate and manage influencer partnerships and brand collaborations.

Ensure that influencer and collaboration content aligns with our brand and messaging

Skills required:

expert editing skills on Canva for posts and videos.

Keen Eye for Aesthetics with proven ability to create attractive, engaging content

Experience at social media platforms (Meta and Instagram) for a relevant fashion and lifestyle brand

Content obsessed with a pulse and possess in-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook & etc ) and influencer marketing

Experience ideating, briefing, and capturing social-first content (video and still)

Strong written and verbal communication skills (copywriting experience an asset)

Qualifications:

1+ years experience working in social media marketing, influencer marketing or equivalent role

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
