Schedule: Full-time

Main Job Purpose:

Coordinate with teams and resolve all complex application and system issues.

Design and maintain expertise in the flow of application processes and systems related to the company.

Administer and resolve application issues, provide updates, and perform root cause analysis.

Plan execute books and implement applications and configuration change procedures to ensure optimal quality assurance for all applications.

Develop, sustain, and evaluate delegated business processes and related applications.

Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.

Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of Operation and customer support departments.

Perform root cause assessment and debug all issues on availability of applications.

Coordinate with departments and administer code migrations in various environments and production outputs.

Provide support and identify all issues and prepare appropriate documentation of all issues and solutions.

Manage all production systems and recommend ways to optimize performance provide solutions to problems and prepare reports for all problems.

Identify and provide resolutions ranging in complexity from medium to high.

Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration.

Undergo a detailed study of the existing system and recommend installation or upgrade of a new system.

Provide training to the users regarding any upgraded systems.

Confer with the project managers regarding any issues in data processing.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensures that all assigned production support issues are properly logged/documented, prioritized and resolved.

Ensures that all assigned Run-the-Business (RTB) / Business-as-Usual (BAU) tasks are properly scheduled, staffed, and completed.

Effectively communicate and turnover support issues and status to Solutions Delivery Team for Level 2 Support Issues or to the 3rd party vendor.

Create data extraction or report utilities.

Second level support on application inquiries or data extraction.

Report Status of RTB tasks.

Report status of requests items and incidents logged.

Strictly complies with corporate governance and principles, such as but not limited to Housekeeping, Safety, Environmental and Code of Conduct and Discipline.

Provides and maintains data files and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.

Provides reports of system usage, capacity and availability to management and users as per business requirements/compliance.

Analyzes and resolves end-user systems-related problems that originate from the end-user and provides end-user training, when required.

Knowledgeable in SQL scripting with programming background.

Knowledgeable in insurance is an advantage.

Strong understanding of systems and database.

Troubleshooting and monitoring tools, techniques, and technologies.

Able to follow the latest advancements in storage hardware, storage design and their impact to existing products and services.

Experience establishing and documenting processes.

Perform tasks as directed by management.

Able to work under minimal supervision.
