Java Developer

Job Summary

We Are seeking talented and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team, with expertise in java development and strong background working with APIs and Spring Boot. The Individual should be able to work under high pressure environment and is dedicated to supporting and enhancing critical applications.

Title: Java Developer

Location- Melbourne

Job Type- Contract (3 months)

Years of Experience- Minimum 3+ years in Java Technology

Roles and Responsibilities

• Performs installation, configuration, migration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned technology

• Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards

• Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies

• Collects and presents data for reporting and planning

• Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations

• Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures

• Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities

• Manages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners

• Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies

• Researches, designs, implements, and tests technology solutions

• Assists with developing tactical strategies, processes, and procedures related to systems/application administration

• Collaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives

• Determines best course of action for meeting business needs

• May provide input into infrastructure architecture designs

• Ensures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints

• May contribute input to infrastructure architecture

• Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors

• Writes programming/scripting

• May participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises

• Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills

• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Forgerock Identity Suite (AM, IDM, IG, DS)

• Experience in installing and configuring ForgeRock OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ

• Identity & Access Management or Federation experience with CA SiteMinder/IdentityMinder, IBM ISAM, Oracle Access Manager, OKta

• 3-4 years of experience developing identity/access management

• Expert knowledge of Identity Management, Access Management, and Directory Services technologies including LDAPv3, OpenID, OAUTH2, Tokens, SAML, and Federation

• Experience building and using web APIs (SOAP, XML, REST, JSON, SCIM)

• Knowledge and experience in API Management including Postman / cURL is a must.

• Expert knowledge in Java and Web-Based Technologies

• Experience working with container technologies like Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.

• Cloud Services such as Azure, O365, AWS

• Server and Application Management:

• Web-application servers (i.e., Apache, IIS, NGINX, Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogic)

• User Provisioning (SCIM)

Skills(Must have)

• Excellent hands-on experience in IBM-MDM edition

• Spring Boot experience – should have strong hands-on experience

• SOAP/REST webservice knowledge-must have strong knowledge

• Unix/Linux – Has worked on Unix/Linux environment

• Shell Scripting-must have practical work experience

• Oracle DB- Must have practical experience

Qualification-
