Our client is looking for Medical Records Technician

The Job

You will be responsible for :

Ensuring accurate coding of diseases and therapies

Scanning, Uploading and labeling of case documents into the appropriate case files

Collection of medical files and documents to be scanned, indexed and uploaded to web-based Utilization Review case management application.

The separation and sorting of soft copy medical files and documents

Ideal Candidate

You have at least 3 years experience within a Records Management role, ideally within the Medical or Insurance industry.

Basic medical terminology

You are organised and have good interpersonal skills.

You have good computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

You have working knowledge of medical coding, data entry

You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard

You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments

You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable reading and analyzing medical documents in English

Must be Accurate and Efficient

Must be Punctual and Dependable

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to meet daily Quota

Comfortable working an overnight shift
