Clinical Research Coordinator Operations Team Lead

Clinical Research Team Lead, Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH. Oversee, plan, direct, and manage large, complex multi-site clinical trial to ensure that research goals/objectives are met. Communicate with primary care clinics and other professionals on all aspects of the study. Act as a liaison with other departments, institutions, and community partners. Work with physician quality champions at each site on quality improvement activities to ensure that clinical pathway is being implemented effectively. Coordinate and lead meetings with primary care providers and other key stakeholders involved in the project. Oversee recruitment of study participants to ensure that target recruitment numbers are being met. Coordinate activities and deliverables of all project conduct partners and proactively identify and manage issues. Occasional travel (once a month) to primary care centers within the state of Ohio. Min. req incl: Bachelor’s in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering plus 3 years of experience, including 3 years of experience supervising, mentoring, and training research team; 3 years of experience with human subjects; and 3 years of experience with data management software.
