Our bar programmes are as critical to the guest experience as our culinary programmes—this role demands a passion for influencing indelible dining experiences as the maestro behind the bar.

You'll be in charge of:

Bar Management

Creative development of a both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage offering maximizing profitability

Creates drink menus and maintains beverage recipe documentation

Manage the beverage stocks and inventories

Selects and purchases liquor and other bar supplies

Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers

Monitor and maintain the quality of beverages and food served at the bar

Continuously evaluate and improve the bar's offerings, including menu items, new promotions, and events

Advertise the daily, weekly and monthly promotions of the bar

Operational Efficiency

Identify opportunities for bar revenue growth, cost savings, and implement appropriate measures to achieve financial goals

Manage and maintain the bar's financial records, including cash handling, budgeting, and reporting

Assisting in the efficient running of the day-to-day bar operations

Assisting in the daily beverage operations and ensuring the quality and consistency of all products meet desired standards

Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms

Handle and rectify customer complaints

Oversees planning for special events

Training

Oversees a team of bartenders, including training employee on menu offerings

Determines employees’ schedules, monitors costs and maintains budget

Oversee team members, including bartenders and barbacks, and, in some cases, bouncers, wait staff, and/or kitchen staff as well

Train and supervise the bar team, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures

Appropriately delegates tasks to team members

Other Duties

Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement

Ensure team members follow all food control and safety regulations

Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen staff and event planners, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
