Power Platform Developer

The Power Platform Developer (PPD) will be responsible for collaborating with business analysts and architects to build data analytics outputs and knowledge management components at the Project Manager Cyber, Test and Training (PM CT2) in Orlando. The PPD will use a variety of platforms, tools and US Army financial management feeder systems to create a data analytics environment for use across all levels from local team members to executive leadership. The PPD will be responsible for the end-to-end process from gathering of initial requirements and data source capture, to data wrangling and data modeling, to development of customer-facing Power BI Reports with advanced data visualizations. The PPD will also be tasked with the administration, maintenance and sustainment of a Power BI-based environment hosted by the Army.

Worksite details: Hybrid work schedule (approximately 60% telework, 40% onsite). Occasional travel will be required.

Required Skills:

Active DoD Secret security clearance

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field/equivalent experience with minimum 10 years related experience OR Associates Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field/equivalent experience with minimum 12 years related experience OR High School Diploma with minimum 14 years related experience

3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI

Proven experience with data model and dashboard design and implementation with data visualization best practices

Desired Skills:

Experience with data modeling, data architecture and data analytics; integrating multiple data dimensions from multiple data sources

Demonstrated experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive data analytics and visualization solutions from stakeholders at all levels of an organization

Experience with programming advanced data queries in SQL or DAX

Working knowledge of tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online and PowerShell

Provide architecture, configuration, administration and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft Officer 365 environment

Experience with business process reengineering

Experience with Army financial management and knowledge of Army standards, systems, processes and/or data

Ability to brief leaders with succinct, clear, and concise information

Ability to translate and summarize detailed and complex technical data and condense into understandable language appropriate for the target audience

Participate in meetings and collaborate with all levels of staff to understand the information needs of each requirement
