The Role:

Seeking a team member who is passionate about technology, web design and development detail who can take us to the next level with creative and technically robust solutions. You will be able to work on different web projects, from websites to applications, that will challenge your knowledge and skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyse, design, and develop the company's e-commerce site on Shopify using Liquid Programming Language, combining artistic design and reusable code with technical programming to improve aesthetics and user experience.

2. Customize and integrate Shopify themes and templates to match the company's branding and customer engagement strategies.

3. Create interactive graphics, digital animations, and multimedia content for product presentations and promotional campaigns using advanced multimedia software and tools.

4. Collaborate with network specialists to address web-related concerns, such as site security and hosting on Shopify, to ensure strong security protocols, sufficient server capacity, and peak performance.

5. Work with the IT team to implement NetSuite for backend operations, ensuring smooth data integration between the e-commerce platform and ERP systems.

6. Create and deploy web content to tailor user interfaces and functionalities, enriching the shopping experience with image files, audio descriptions, and video clips of furniture products.

7. Work closely with marketing and design teams to align website content and promotions with online sales strategies and marketing campaigns.

8. Monitor and optimize website performance, conducting regular tests, updates, and adjustments as needed to improve speed, responsiveness, and overall functionality.

9. Assist in developing and enforcing online strategies and methodologies, focusing on increasing user engagement and optimizing conversion rates.

10. Implementing robust data backup procedures and recovery plans to ensure business continuity and safeguard critical website functions against potential disasters.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful you will have:

• Bachelor of Information Technology

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Shopify Liquid, Celigo, Shopify and Netsuite

• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting

• Integration of website with other systems via API

• Experience designing aesthetics while seeking opportunities to leverage new techniques
