Job Title: Slitting Operator

Location: Elkhart, IN

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00am to 4:00pm

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Slitting Operator to join our team at our facility in Elkhart, IN. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in slitting paper and setting up equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operate slitting machinery to cut paper materials according to specified dimensions and tolerances.

Set up and adjust slitting equipment to ensure proper cutting and processing of materials.

Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or deviations from quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in slitting paper and equipment setup.

Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
