Position Summary

The scope of this position is UK & Ireland Quadient companies. The CFO UKI is the most senior employee within the Finance department in UKI region. He/she is responsible for the completion of all financial Planning, Analysis and accounting activities, setting up metrics and KPIs to define needed actions, which are to be implemented and tracked for efficiency and impact. The regional entities financial managers are reporting to this position. This demands from the appointed employee not only high competency within finance but also highly developed soft skills and employee management experience. The position is reporting to Quadient Head of Controlling Europe.

Key Accountabilities

The CFO UKI is entrusted with the following tasks:

• Supporting the Head of Controlling EUROPE and UKI COO in managing and understanding margin and profitability drivers, key accounting judgments and business performance to explain movements within financial results, and produce commentary if required

• Working with Finance Managers and Business Leaders to understand opportunities, drive objectives and address risks

• Initiating, managing and implementing process and system enhancements

• Analysing business conditions resulting in guidance / recommendations for improvement

• Co-ordinating and producing financial reporting (statutory, regulatory, management and board)

• Manage the consolidated reporting timetable ensuring all processes are fully documented and kept up to date

• Filtering and responding to questions appropriately as the primary audit contact from Quadient Controlling team

• Manage the forecasting and business planning processes

• Ensuring accurate accounting in the general ledger

• Ensuring a robust control environment is in place, always

• Making recommendations on dividend policy and capital management

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, administration or economy

• +15 years of business experience

• At least 2 years in a similar position either as Auditor, Analyst or Controller

• Solid Accounting and finance knowledge

• Working knowledge of Software Industry accounting and processes

• Experience of Corporate Environment and relationship with Public Company Finance Department

• Auditing techniques

• High analytical and organizational skills

• Financial management

• Strong ability to prioritize and work to deadlines

• People management skills are a must

• Advanced user of Excel

• Fluent spoken and written English
