Procurement Specialist
Description:
A F&B company in Riyadh is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchasing process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts.
Your primary goal will be to ensure that our organization obtains the best value for money when purchasing goods and services.
To excel in this role, you should have excellent negotiation skills, be familiar with procurement best practices, and have a strong ability to analyze data.
You should also have a solid understanding of supply chain management and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies in order to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Review and analyze purchasing data and trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition through to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in procurement regulations.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a procurement role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
