SGE Marketing Services Inc, is an affiliate company of Spring-Green Enterprises parent company of two national franchise brands, Pet Butler and Spring-Green as well as a portfolio of company owned franchises. SGE Marketing is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Digital Performance based out of Naperville, IL. This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work remotely a couple of days a week, along with expectations to work three days a week in the Naperville, IL corporate office.

Position Summary:The Associate Director of Digital Performance is responsible for shaping our Spring Green Enterprises digital marketing road map and is recognized as a subject matter expert and accountable for the organizations digital performance The DDM will act with a high degree of independent judgement and decision making relative to the development, execution and performance analysis of all Spring Green and Pet Butler programs within the digital marketing channels. The DDM will be part of the marketing operations team and require the development of strong and long-lasting relationships between key stakeholders, department leaders and vendors. Functional areas of responsibility include but are not limited to all Spring Green and Pet Butler Websites, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Email Marketing, User Experience (UX/UI), Local Listings Management, and Affiliates. The DDM will build and lead a blend of internal team members, contractors, and strategic vendors. This position has both strategic and financial responsibility and reports to the Director of Marketing Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and lead a diverse and skilled digital team cultivating a high-performance winning culture, an atmosphere of accountability, creating a culture of curiosity where continuous testing nad learning occurs.

Support Director of Marketing Operations and Director of Marketing Strategy & Analytics to identify analysis and provide insight into digital performance, identifying areas of improvement and possible innovation.

Provide oversight and management of Spring Green and Pet Butler digital channel recommendations, analysis, optimizations, and implementation for SEM, Email Local listings, and Affiliates.

Oversee Paid Media daily budget and pacing with support by Digital Marketing Manger. Direct the management of Spring Green and Pet Butler local listing sites including Google+, Angie’s List, Yelp and others.

Work with the Senior Brand & Content Performance Manager influencing the development of seo friendly content and ensuring alignment to the brand and campaigns goals through the social media strategy

Perform SEO gap analyses to determine what is missing and what is needed as well as prioritization.

Direct the management of updates to all Spring Green and Pet Butler websites and Content Management Systems (CMS).

Support the Director of Marketing Operations to identify analysis and provide insights in website enhancements plan, identifying areas of improvement and possible innovation and testing.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.

Minimum 7+ years leading Digital Marketing teams with exceptional strategic vision, conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated success in ecommerce, website marketing, email, paid digital media and SEM to meet strategic business initiatives.

Demonstrated experience working with Saas-based Marketing Stack components like PPC, Paid social, Google ADwords, Google Analytics, website CMS, Local Listing aggregator, an ESP or Marketing Cloud provider like Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and passionate about the customer experience.

Experience working with multiple business stakeholders, helping articulate marketing requirements.

Experience reporting performance KPI’s to larger teams with strong analytical aptitude. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
