Job Description:

The Senior Manager, IT Enterprise Applications & Governance is responsible for leading all aspects of the strategy, design, implementation and ongoing sustainment of the company's ERP, EPM, EHS and other systems. Additionally, this role will oversee and manage the IT governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure IT initiatives align with the organization's business strategy, objectives and are compliant with regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with other IT and business stakeholders as well as external partners and will play a key role in promoting and implementing best practices in application support and governance to ensure the effective use of information technology resources.

The Day to Day:

Enterprise Applications

Application Management

Lead the support teams to ensure the effective functioning of enterprise applications, such as SAP, OneStream, Workday, etc. through the effective establishment and achievement of ser service level agreements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop strategies for optimizing the use of enterprise applications to meet business goals and objectives.

Understand business processes associated with enterprise applications, product lifecycle management and recommend solutions to problems. Continuous Improvement, Upgrades and Enhancements

Oversee the implementation of new applications or upgrades to existing ones, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing enhancements that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.

Monitor the performance of enterprise applications, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability. User Support and Training

Monitor tickets queue, providing support to end users, troubleshooting issues, and organizing training sessions to ensure effective utilization of enterprise applications as required. Budget, Resources and Vendor Management

Support managing relationships with software vendors, negotiate IT related contracts, and evaluate new solutions for potential adoption.

Develop and manage budgets for enterprise application projects, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing costs. Governance

Governance Framework Development

Develop and oversee the IT governance framework to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Define and document IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and effectively communicated within the organization. Compliance Management

Oversee IT compliance and audit activities, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions, while working closely with Security, Audit, and Compliance to ensure all compliance-related audits and requirements are operational and best-in-class.

Ensure IT applications and services adhere to security protocols, regulatory compliance standards, and industry best practices such as GDPR and to departmental policies, practices and procedures [SOX, SOPs, safety procedures] Training and Awareness

Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to ensure governance practices are integrated into IT operations and project management.

Provide guidance and training on IT governance, risk, and compliance to IT staff and stakeholders. Is This You?

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent experience.

7+ years' experience managing ERP, HCM, EPM, EHS and other enterprise systems.

5+ years' tactical experience in IT governance required.

Proficient in software development lifecycles, agile, release management, organizational change.

Experience integrating business systems/IT processes.

Proven experience working with AMS providers and external auditing firms.

Experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).

Solid understanding of data analysis and mining business operations.

Strong understanding of IT operations, project management and value realization.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to IT governance and compliance.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and/or functional experience in SAP S/4 HANA, OneStream and Workday highly desired.

Good working knowledge of modern integration technologies is required.

Knowledge of Information technology and security standards and frameworks e.g. NIST, COBIT, ITIL desired.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft collaboration tools, excel and PowerPoint.

PMP, Agile, DevOps certifications are an asset.

For applicants residing in CO, the salary range for this role is from $135,000-$165,000.
