Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will provide advanced clinical care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The NP/PA will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of medical conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.

Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.

Perform minor procedures and assist in surgeries.

Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to provide coordinated care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with medical advancements.

Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff and other healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

National certification as an NP (e.g., ANCC, AANP) or PA (e.g., NCCPA).

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in dermatology.

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:.

Additional certifications relevant to specialty area.

Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
