1. Manages strategic sourcing activities in own responsibility area and contributes to developing sourcing strategy to support business needs.

Commodity: Cabin, Canopies, Fabrication with machining, Machined items, Global Sourcing etc.

2. Working knowledge of handling the commodity as above with minimum 8-10 years of experience. Knowledge of Auto cad will be given an added advantage.

3. Evaluates and selects strategic suppliers and negotiates terms for purchases and manages relationships with suppliers ensuring agreed standards of service.

4. Should have Sound knowledge of engineering raw materials used in manufacturing industry.

5. Should have working knowledge of Heat treatment processes, surface treatment processes.

6. Analyses and evaluates the sourcing trends, external price trends and cost efficiency.

7. Working knowledge of ERP software is needed e.g. Microsoft D365.

8. Must have Knowledge of zero-based costings.

9. Should have Basic knowledge of INCO terms.

10. Good communication skills.

Typical Education: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, regular course from renowned university
