Purchasing Agent

Essential Functions:

Purchasing of piping, sheet metal, plumbing, MRO, rentals, tools, inventory and other materials and supplies.

Tracking supplier prices and obtaining the best price.

Establishing and maintaining good Supplier and Internal relationships.

Assist in project estimates, help conduct cost analysis, purchases, and job cost completion.

Work with Field on returns and follow up on credit to be received

Ensure that purchase orders are written accurately, with enough detail to adequately receive items

Experience:

3-5 years experience in HVAC purchasing

Technical background in commercial mechanical trades

Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings

Purchase product and work with field employees on job site to schedule deliveries

Assist service department with part and supply orders and scheduling
