JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role necessitates strategic leadership, architecting frameworks and evangelizing the smart use of resources amongst the marketing leads.

Key driver of success lies in the return-on-resources; the responsibility to match business forecasts with budgets efficiently, to acquire media that delivers goals effectively and to make information available in a timely, relevant fashion.

Functional

Oversee direct reports on budget management, media planning and research & insights to deliver organizational KPIs

Enabler role in development and execution of marketing campaigns from the perspective of budget, media and insights, as well as ancillary support for other divisions in matters related to resource innovation (such as adtech/ martech).

Accountable for resource management including budget utilization and reporting, talent performance and growth, as well as project management and timelines.

Drive strategic approach, framework innovation and breakthrough ideas in budget, media and insights to support delivery of marketing results and industry recognition, while nurturing habits amongst the team on efficiency.

Ownership of social listening, brand trackers and other insights related functions, and to drive relationship with agencies and group data.

Support financial planning/ reporting, best practices in procurement, compliance and application of tools and information.

Co-develop marketing strategies and smart utilization of analytics.

Stakeholders

Primarily as peer to team leads in content marketing, product marketing and brand, and followed by thought leadership to finance, group data, procurement, content and product as well as company as a whole where necessary (notably brand, insights).

Secondarily as lead in agency relationships, support services partners, and other external business partners.

REQUIREMENTS:

More than 10 years in relevant functions, with preference for 3 years in people management in marketing and/ or marketing-related functions.

Contemporary knowledge of marketing practices, media & advertising, financial planning, technology, tools and industry practitioners.
