Electrical Panel Technician

What you will do: As our Electrical Control Panel Technician, you will fabricate, layout, assemble, and wire complex control panels.

Daily you will use schematics to build the electrical control panels that control the movement of water to cities, municipalities, and homes for our water and wastewater industry clients.

This position works in our Plymouth, MN location.

The job: Every day, your primary role will be to construct large electric control panels of various complexities and sizes from schematics with minimal supervision.

You will fabricate the enclosures and subplates by drilling or tapping as well as performing layout, assembly and wiring of the control panels.

You will help identify and correct any design errors during the panel build.

The skills you need: To succeed in this role, you must have experience reading schematics and have a mechanical aptitude.

You should have experience building control panels and possess electrical knowledge.

You must be able to problem solve and work independently.

Experience wiring control panels and light metal fabrication skills are necessary.

A 2-year degree in Automation, Electronic Technology or Electrical Construction is preferred as well as 3-5 years of experience.
