Welder

Inova Staffing is searching for qualified Welders for a client in Kent, OH.

This is a full-time, temp to hire position with overtime opportunities!

Hours: 6am-4pm M-TH, OT on Fridays

Pay: $21/hr

Responsibilities:

Operate equipment safely.

Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Set up and operate welding equipment; perform minor repairs as needed.

Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure they meet specifications.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.

Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Must pass a welding test.

Ability to pass code certification weld test preferred.

Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and prints.

Skilled in using tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.

Physical Demands:

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and crawl for extended periods.

Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

Work in confined spaces and at heights up to 15 feet.

Wear a tight-fitting respirator.
