SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 30 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs.

SPA has an immediate need for a Cyber Systems Analyst: ISSO-DOD RMF for employment in our downtown Washington, DC office that is located at 20 M Street, SE.

Responsibilities

You will provide direct support to the Lead System Engineer and Program Protection Lead for Advanced Radars (Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) and Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR)) programs in support of PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors and Lasers. You will serve on the Program Protection Working Group and provide support as a Lead Cybersecurity/Risk Management Framework (RMF) Analyst responsible for the Authorization and Assessment process for new and existing Navy advanced radar information systems. Your responsibilities will include leading efforts to bring platform information technology systems through the full life cycle of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve/renew the Authority to Operate (ATO).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $120,000 – $140,000.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

RMF, eMASS experience

3-4+ years of Navy experience providing information assurance, engineering, or operational support, including supporting information operations, cyber operations, system administration, and systems security

1+ year of experience evaluating the cyber compliance of a system against current Risk Managed Framework (RMF) and DoD Cybersecurity policies

Hands-on experience to validate control implementations and test procedures

DISA STIGs and STIG Viewer experience

Possess DOD SECRET security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

Navy Qualified Validator (NQV)

Experience working in an acquisition program office environment, with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines

Systems engineering background and experience with hardware/software integration

DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) III or IAT III Certification
