Barista

Hewn, an independently owned and nationally recognized artisan bakery is looking for additional FOH/Baristas to join our team in Libertyville, Illinois. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, friendly and hard-working. Experience in coffee and retail is a plus. Weekend availability is required. Part-time and full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs

Serve pastries and bread and answer questions about our products

Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Follow health and safety guidelines

Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a barista

High integrity with a great attendance record

Strong attention to detail

Ability to listen and communicate effectively
