Site Engineer Fitout- KSA

A Site Engineer with Fitout Experience will oversee the interior fit-out activities of construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

The role requires a deep understanding of fitout processes, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate fitout activities in accordance with project schedules.Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to understand project requirements and specifications.Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available and meet the project standards.

Site Supervision and Management: Oversee daily site operations and ensure that fitout works are carried out as per the approved drawings and specifications.Monitor the work progress and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction phase.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials.Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to company standards and project requirements.Report any deviations or non-compliance to the project manager and take corrective actions as necessary.

Cost Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for fitout projects.Monitor project expenditures and ensure that costs are kept within the approved budget.Identify and report any potential cost overruns and recommend cost-saving measures.

Health and Safety: Ensure that all fitout activities comply with health and safety regulations.Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks to educate site personnel on safe working practices.Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on site and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors.Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and changes to all stakeholders.Ensure that client expectations are met and any concerns are addressed promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection reports.Prepare and submit regular project status reports to the project manager.Ensure all documentation is in compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering, with a strong focus on fitout projects.Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant construction management software.Certifications: Relevant certifications in health and safety, project management, or fitout works are desirable.Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
