We're seeking a seasoned Chef, someone who has honed their skills in a bustling environment for over two years. If you're a passionate and enthusiastic individual, your experience would be a perfect fit for this position at Enzos Cucina.

To be successful, candidates need to have:

Key responsibilities:

· Supervise and direct the duties of kitchen staff.

· Prepare and elegantly present food for both regular service and special events.

· Design and create recipes and menus, considering factors like seasonal ingredient availability, expected customer volume, portion sizes, and final menu pricing.

· Selects high-quality ingredients to maximise the flavour of dishes.

· Verify the quantity and quality of received products to ensure they meet the order specifications and standards.

· Monitor and maintain stock levels to reduce wastage.

· Examine equipment, work areas, and general supplies to ensure they comply with established health and safety standards.

· Instruct kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques.

· Supervise and uphold sanitation protocols to ensure employees adhere to standards and regulations.

· Provide costing of new menu items

· Conducts trials to develop innovative specialities that attract diners to the restaurant.

· Procure food and additional supplies as required.

Qualification & Experience:

· Relevant AQF qualification in Commercial Cookery and Hospitality

· two years of relevant experience in a hotel, café, or restaurant

· Communication: adept at conveying information clearly and succinctly

· Multitasking: skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
