Position Title: Accounting Specialist

Work Set-up: Work from Home/Work from Office

Salary: Php 35,000 – Php 65,000

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM PH Time

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities as an Accounting Specialist:

• Utilize spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) to reconcile

accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank statements, and general ledger accounts.

• Organize and analyze financial data using spreadsheets to identify discrepancies or

variances.

• Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing reconciliation activities and financial

analysis findings.

• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Assist with understanding different month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications as an Accounting Specialist:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a

plus.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, functions, and data manipulation techniques.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
