Automation Engineer

Basic Qualification: Masters / Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Role: Automation Engineer

Experience: 5-8 years

Must Have Skills

Strong Automation testing knowledge and skills

Tools:- Selenium, Java, Maven, Cucumber, and Jenkins

Data Base:- Oracle

Strong expertise in identifying the scope of automation, driving automation

Expertise in creating automation scripts and executing, maintenance of the Automation

Experience with API testing, testing methodologies and tools such as Postman, and other REST API clients

Exposure to project management tools + QE tools (e.g. JIRA/Confluence, TestRail/Zephyr)

Good knowledge on Test Metrics, Test planning and Quality maturity

Good knowledge in SQL

Good Requirement analysis, Team coordination capabilities

Proficient in Test case creation, Test Execution, Defect Tracking and root cause analysis

Proficient in different phases of testing like Functional, E2E, Regression and Integration Testing

Well acquainted with Agile development practices

Ability to build productive relationships with teams, clients and business users

Ability to deal with people, master new technologies quickly, willingness to learn and work hard

Excellent problem solving skills with good interpersonal skills

Good to Have:

Banking or financial solutions knowledge

Good understanding of CICD practices, and Jenkins
