Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a full time perm Business Analyst to work on their P&C insurance products.
Location: hybrid 1d/week Toronto
Responsibilities:
Work with Business and IT stakeholders to plan and facilitate sessions where business requirements are elicited and reviewed
Work with business and IT teams to explore innovative and cost effective solutions
Document current state systems and processes; Perform gap analysis as needed;
Prepare business/system requirements and solution documents (e.g., use cases, user stories, process flows, business rules, screen mock-ups, etc.)
Participate in system design and demos to ensure business requirements and needs are being met
Develop test strategy and plans for projects. Participate in the planning, execution and documenting results of functional testing
Assist in the development and delivery of training for end users in new applications and business processes
Requirements:
5+ yrs experience as a BA in the P&C insurance industry (pricing, rating, underwriting projects)
3+ yrs experience in Auto insurance, experience
Proficient in P&C insurance industry operations, processes, and business terminology
Experience writing traceable business and functional requirements documents including user stories
SQL Query experience
Experience working with third-party business and IT teams for project delivery and ongoing support
Experience in presenting to a variety of audiences with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
