Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 base

Role Overview:

The Project Manager, equipped with extensive experience and skills, takes charge of larger or more complex projects. They may supervise other Project Managers, ensuring effective performance and timely project completion, surpassing client expectations and adhering to contractual requirements. Additionally, they provide guidance to assigned Project Teams and occasionally assume leadership roles within these teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensures adherence to company values and principles, fostering integrity, safety, and quality throughout all construction projects.

Takes direct responsibility for project costs and profitability, overseeing financial performance on each assigned project.

Collaborates closely with project teams, providing guidance on project management techniques and ensuring alignment with company culture.

Actively participates in negotiating prime contracts and preparing comprehensive project budgets.

Leads the development of the Project Management Plan (PMP) and engages in value engineering services as needed.

Organizes and conducts pre-construction planning meetings, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Manages subcontract negotiations, procurement of permits, and resolution of regulatory requirements.

Develops project schedules and milestones in collaboration with the Project Superintendent, prioritizing timely project completion.

Reviews contract documents for completeness and consistency, facilitating smooth project execution.

Oversees project material and equipment procurement within budget constraints and project timelines.

Monitors project performance on-site, addressing any issues related to quantity, cost, safety, quality, and schedule.

Manages change orders effectively, minimizing impact on project costs and profitability.

Controls job cost payments and coordinates with accounting for accurate and timely processing.

Coordinates final project close-out procedures, ensuring all documentation and approvals are completed.

Conducts post-completion project reviews, providing valuable insights for future projects and business development.

Participates in the project's warranty walk-through and maintains positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent educational attainment and experience.

Minimum of eight years of project management involvement, specifically in Mission Critical construction projects.

Demonstrates adeptness in steering intricate projects to successful fruition.

Collaborates effectively within project teams, assigning tasks skillfully to achieve organizational and client objectives.

Proficient in delivering articulate and influential verbal and written presentations, fostering robust communication channels.

Possesses a comprehensive grasp of estimating principles to validate bids, assess market rates, and manage change orders.

Knowledgeable about contractual language and practices, safeguarding company interests while ensuring quality client service.

Well-versed in construction laws, building codes, and design prerequisites, including proficient interpretation of plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at resolving issues and nurturing positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

Skilled negotiator with a proven record, boasting at least one year of contract negotiation experience.

Upholds integrity and ethical standards in all professional endeavors, consistently aligning with organizational policies and delivering dependable outcomes for stakeholders.
