Role Description

The Merchandising Manager leads strategy, sourcing, pricing, merchandising and management of Kigo’s world-class selection of Digital Rewards and Offers (including NFTs) and will play a pivotal role in partner and consumer adoption of our platform. The Merchandising Manager is responsible for curating and managing the digital rewards and offers assortment in our catalog to meet customer demands and drive profitability. This role involves selecting and negotiating with creators and suppliers, optimizing inventory levels, setting pricing strategies, and ensuring the visual presentation of our digital asset catalog is engaging and user-friendly. The Merchandising Manager continually analyzes market trends, uses data insights, and adapts the digital asset mix to maintain our appeal, relevance and competitive edge. Success in this role requires a keen eye for digital asset selection, a knack for negotiation, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to delivering superior loyalty and redemption experiences to customers while maximizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier and Vendor Relationships

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, creators, and marketplaces to secure the best digital assets, pricing, and terms.

Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.

Monitor supplier performance and proactively address any issues or opportunities.

Merchandising, Pricing and Portfolio Management:

Onboard Digital Assets into Kigo's catalog

Create and configure curated catalog views for specific Kigo customers.

Determine the pricing strategy for products, consider factors such as cost, competition, and market demand.

Constantly monitor and evaluate the performance of the Digital Asset portfolio, making necessary adjustments and recommendations for future strategies.

Inventory Management

Monitor supply levels and ensure that inventory turnover is optimized to minimize carrying costs and prevent stockouts

Implement inventory control and demand forecasting strategies to maintain optimal stock-to-sales ratios.

Manage the clearance of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.

Analytics, Forecasting & Market Research:

Stay updated with the rapidly evolving world of Digital Assets, understanding emerging trends, new brand developments, potential risks, and opportunities.

Utilize data analytics tools and reports to make informed decisions about product selection, pricing, and performance.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory turnover, and profit margins.

Forecast future product demands and planning for seasonal or holiday-specific merchandise.

Collaboration & Strategy:

Work closely with the marketing, tech, and business development teams to optimize the presentation and utilization of Digital Assets in Kigo's loyalty programs.

Develop strategies to maximize the ROI on Digital Asset investments, ensuring alignment with Kigo's overall business goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

3+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, digital marketing, or a related role

Strong knowledge of the Web3 ecosystem, platforms, and valuation metrics

Strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative skills

Experience with Digital Media, Arts, or related fields

Passion for the convergence of technology, customer experience, and marketing
