About the Role
The Alliance Marketing Manager contributes to the go-to-market strategy for our most strategic alliance partners, executes co-marketing plans, and assesses performance data to shape budgetary and investment decisions.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Alliance Marketing and Sales leadership to establish quarterly priorities and build go-to-market plans with key alliance partners that align to business goals
Partner with product marketing to shape alliances-related messaging and positioning
Contribute to content development needed for campaigns, programs and communications channels that build internal and external awareness of offerings
Develop and communicate quarterly alliances marketing priorities; define goals and objectives
Create alliances go-to-market planning template and project plan, which can be customized as we bring new focus alliance partners on board
Analyze program performance data to identify trends, make recommendations and shape budget allocations that drive business results
Own and balance alliances and marketing budget to ensure that we are achieving CAC payback and ROI metrics
Who You Are
Strong alliances and channel acumen and understanding of partner types and personas
Strong analytical skills: ability to measure effectiveness of programs and extract actionable insights
Ability to think strategically and work independently to drive projects and initiatives, high level of accountability and owner's mindset. High understanding of partner relationship nuances and needs.
Build effective working relationships with sales leaders, sales team members and the alliances community
Deep understanding of marketing/sales funnel as it relates to the alliance partnerships (direct or channel-sourced) and methods to drive alliance partner influenced opportunities
Strong ability to leverage Salesforce and related tools to build campaigns and track performance
Excellent ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, deliver high-quality work, under extreme pressure at times, within a dynamic and growing organization
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years proven experience in B2B alliances or channel marketing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for cloud services/security technology company
3-4 years of experience with technology alliance marketing, with previous experience leveraging digital tactics as part of marketing mix
Experience working with a team in a virtual mode with remote resources
