Looking for ENTRY LEVEL LEVEL 1 TECHNICIANS WILLING TO TRAIN
OFFER:
$17/hr. & Training on Splicing whether its coax or Fiber, will learn aerial and underground splicing . Will start as a level 1 and grow and learn to eventually level 2 at 24/hr. and level 3 at 33/hr.
Duration: Long-term; approx. 2 years
Drug & Background Check: Both required
WILL LEARN: Either Coax or Fiber Splicing
Location: South Bay Area of California.
Shift: Monday- Friday Day Time

Description: Tenured Coax/Fiber production splicer. Has completed fiber training and can complete basic fiber splicing (pig tail of node and non-critical case work). Primary trainer. Has oversight responsibilities on day of cut activity within assigned node. Can identify network design issues and work to resolve as needed. Capable of troubleshooting network and powering issues under supervision of Sr OSP Field Engineer. Able to work outside in all-weather climates, work at varying heights (in a bucket truck) and in vaults, working extended periods of time from a ladder, lift 50-100lbs. Able to work evening hours or overnight during maintenance window (1am – 5am) when required.
