Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

A local school district in Michigan is now seeking a fully virtual Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join their team for the upcoming school year. The SLI will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing student and hearing individuals within the school community. Your expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) and your understanding of the educational environment will enable you to provide equal access to education and promote inclusion for students with hearing impairments. This district is looking for someone who is a great fit to offer renewals year after year!

Job Details:

Full-Time

30 hours per week

School Year: 24/25

Virtual, work from home position

Job Requirements:

EIPA score 4.0 + or Valid MI BEI II certification

EIPA score 3.5 +, must be willing to apply for LARA waiver upon receipt of offer
