Class A Driver

Class A Driver, is responsible for Deliveries from the warehouse location to businesses properties. Duties include loading product into their vehicle, using a navigation system to map their route and delivering parcels to the correct addresses in a timely manner. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance, Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, Collect and verify delivery instructions

Sign on Bonus (CDL A Up to $3,000)

Tourtellot is open 7 day a week operating 8-12 hours per day depending on route assignment. Routes are in the New England & NY area. Driver will receive 2 days off (Saturday or Sunday with one additional day during the week)

Compensation: CDL A Hourly Rate: $25.50

Essential Functions:

Operate tractor trailer truck within assigned routes in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner

Make deliveries to Tourtellot & Co., Inc. independent retailers, providing best in-class customer service

Must have the ability to safely and solely bend, lift and move up to 50 lbs. and enter and exit truck throughout shift

Off-load product from truck with electric pallet/hand jack

Complete necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal regulations

Skills/Knowledge/Licensing:

Valid CDL Class A License

Valid DOT Medical Certificate

Min. 2 years’ experience operating CDL equipment and lift gates, preferred

Must pass physical/drug testing, MVR and background checks

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required
