Role Purpose: Vodafone Idea business services (VIBS) is one of the largest telecom service provider in India with > 200 K+ enterprise. Our business solutions engages with the market across strategic & key top accounts to support multiple innovative propositions across Connectivity & Collaboration, Mobile Analytics, IOT, Security, and Cloud domain.

This role focuses on creating SDWAN and Managed network services solutions for the enterprise customers, the candidate should have the hands-on experience of implementing large scale IP/MPLS/DWDM in the Service provider domain and SDWAN networks for enterprise customers. This is a techno commercial role and the person should have the right technical skills matched with a high level of business acumen. This role interfaces with Enterprise customers, sales teams, solutions, technology, products and OEM’s

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

Accountable for the Business solutions engagement with Large customers in the IT/ITES/BFSI/Media Services verticals nationally

Customer Engagement for New Business Development – Engagement CXO‘s, relevant buying centres and decision makers at the customer organisation to position the VIBS services to value add the customer business digital journey.

Build strong relationships at “C” level and amongst key leaders within client organisations becoming a trusted advisor & thought leader.

Design & handle large deal Solution response, governance & define win strategy.

First time Right design – Ensure adherence to VIBS solution governance process for all complex/transformational opportunities to maintain the right balance between incremental revenue and Operating cost.

RFP/Tender technical support – Ensure team timely response to all the qualified RFP’s and tenders from solution perspective to ensure bid submission and differentiate us against competition.

Be a strong catalyst and support in engaging and collaborating with TSP and Technology partners for enterprise solutions and product support for the segment.

100% Solutions to be implementable and revenue recognition to begin as per the agreed design.

Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including; Sales, Cluster Solutions, IP Engg, Delivery, Planning, Marketing, Product Development, & Operations.

Drive Revenue achievement for SDWAN/Managed network services with a wallet size of approx. Rs. 100 crores for the year

Core competencies, knowledge and experience ]:

15 + years of experience in Telecom Technology domain

Hands on Technology and implementation exposure to Transmission technologies like DWDM, SDH, Ethernet, IP/MPLS, SDWAN, Network security etc. Good understanding of Data Centre, Cloud, IT integration and managed services.

Good understanding of the Enterprise Customer requirements and unique skills to build solutions by making use of the core technologies

Good techno-commercial and market experience

Customer interaction and engagement with CXO levels, different buying centres and decision makers in an organisation.

Ability to learn new things faster and articulate with good presentation and documentation skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Engineering Graduate /Post Graduate

Technology certifications from leading OEM’s like Cisco/Juniper/Nokia/Fortinet/Versa etc.

Experience in working under Six Sigma, ITIL, ETOM, TL9000 etc. process frameworks.

Key performance indicators :

Focus on Large/transformational deals across SDWAN/Managed network services towers to ensure incremental revenue achievement as per the defined targets.

Order Booking / Revenue Achievement across segments for SDWAN/managed network services, Execution of Segment specific projects and ensure the Revenue achievement of all the segments as per the targets

100% Solutions to be implementable and revenue recognition to begin as per the agreed design.

Develop Solution heat map to increase penetration in the assigned set of top accounts and build & execute strategy as per the agreement.
