Lebanese-Middle Eastern restaurant is seeking an experienced Server. The Server is responsible to Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return. We deliver great food, warmth, happiness, smiles and exceptional customer service. We strive to provide exceptional guest service and hospitality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary

Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of the restaurant.

Monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.

Collect payments from guests.

Take food or beverages orders from guests.

Check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Serve food or beverages to guests, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.

Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services

Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.

Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.

Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses, and pour the wines for guests.

Describe and recommend wines to guests.

Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements

Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.

Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Requirements:

3 year’s experience as a server

Having strong attention to detail and the ability to retain and clearly articulate details of the bakery products

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Results-oriented and impeccably organized

Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, lifting, carrying and stooping

May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40 lbs
